My name is Masaki Takeura, one of the staff members at CarpeDiem Mita. If I had just one word to describe Jiujitsu, it would be ”freedom.” In my previous job, I was frustrated due to peer pressure, and struggling to express myself. However, Jiujitsu helped me to significantly release my daily pressure. Regardless of age, sex, and nationality, anyone can enjoy Brazilian Jiujitsu. I am looking forward to improving both physical and mental health through Brazilian Jiujitsu together with you.

Why I started Brazilian Jiujitsu
When I stopped playing baseball that I had played for ten years since I was a fourth-year elementary school student, I was bored because I could not find my passion. One day, I was reading a magazine about combat sports at book store, and found a Jiujitsu academy in my neighborhood. I had no hesitation to sign up my membership right after that.
